This is what i believe to be a tetraploid form of capensis. Regardless, it grows very large (i would estimate more than 50% larger than typical) and has equivalently larger flowers. Mine is currently putting out lots of pinkish root bud thingies from the stalk between leaves. The parent plant came from Bugweed (but originally Peter D'Amato) during the last NASC auction.
