This is a male "typical" N. ventricosa, currently in bloom (two flower spikes). *The longest of its several vines is ~2 ft. *I removed the 2005 pitchers because they don't overwinter well in my house, but there are lots of healthy tendrils for the 2006 crop. *Last year's pitchers were all lowers, but the plant has grown a lot and maybe the bloom is a sign that it's ready for uppers. *A proper pruning will yield a number of cuttings for trades, by the way. *Let the bidding start at $10 and I'll pay for shipping as long as it goes for more than $25.
