U. nelumbifolia seedlings in small pot
Anyone who saw the pics of one of my blooming U. nelumbifolia knew that there would likely be some seeds in the not-too-distant-future. Well - the future arrived this past weekend. While most utric seed is notorious for having a short viability, U. nelumbifolia seeds (& U. humboldtii) probably have the shortest life. Since the seeds wouldn't survive until the end of the auction, I placed several into a small cup of LFS last night. Here they are as of a few minutes ago:
I count 8 germinated seeds in the pot.
The seedlings keep growing - so here's a new pic from a few minutes ago (also - all 10 of the seeds have now germinated)
Winning bidder gets the pot of baby U. nelumbifolia seedlings.
Opening bid = $2
Open to bidders in USA only
I pay shipping
