Up for auction is a small division of the newly-named (December 2011 CPN) S. x gilpini (S. psittacina x S. rubra gulfensis) cultivar 'Gorey'.
Named for one of my favorite gothic authors/illustrators, Edward Gorey (if you haven't read "The Gashlycrumb Tinies", you're missing out on the darkest ABC book in history).
The plant is in very limited circulation at the moment, and -- while I plan to change that -- you can be the first in your town, county, state, region, etc. to have one of your very own.
Original Cultivar Description: http://www.carnivorousplants.org/cpn/Species/v40n4p136_140.html#Gorey
How to get your own copy of "The Gashlycrumb Tinies":
http://www.goreystore.com/shop/08/edward-gorey-gashlycrumb-tinies-book
US only, please. I will pay for shipping. Plant will be shipped bare root in a plastic bag with sphagnum and/or moist paper towel).
Please PM me for more information and shipping address should you be the lucky winner.
Opening bid $10
