Is this possible: DVD audio to audio CD?

I'm wondering if anyone knows how I might go about this little idea of mine...

I have some great DVD movies of William Burroughs talking but I wanna be able to hear it in the car while I'm driving. Anyone know how I might dub the audio off and get them onto CD-Rs?

I have Nero, VLC media and the Win media player.

Use a DVD to WAV ripper. Then edit and burn the WAVs to CD using Nero. Try Google

VirtualDubMpeg
with the AC3 plug-in should work, but there are dozens of other tools, perhaps faster. Copy protection is likely to be a problem.

Thanks guys! I'll take a look at the links tomorrow when I've got the day off and some free time to fool around.
