~10 day old monarch caterpillars

Nepfreak

I found many monarch caterpillar eggs on milkweed back on the 1st of August, and they have since grown into large and voracious caterpillars. I keep them in a 10 gallon tank with milkweed stems in cups of water. You guys have no idea how much milkweed 20 fourth instar monarch caterpillars can go through! They easily defoliated three 8 inch milkweed stem sections in two days, and are working on another three. The milkweed you see here was put in 4 hours before the pics were taken. Here are the pics!
