is fir bark ok to use?

I am getting a bunch of neps on monday.
I have some fir bark, It smells like pine trees/christmas trees.
Is this ok to use in a nep mix?
This may be a dumb question, but I don't remember the shultz? pine bark I had before smelling much like anything.

Yup! most orchid bark is western fir bark. I use it extensively in all my nep mixes.
