This VFT I picked up from Lowes a few months ago seems to think it's springtime...

I thought this was also supposed to bloom around Easter...

my U. sandersonii tends to flower all the time, and the VFT wasnt dormant from Lowes i imagine so its time is out of whack.

LOL True the VFT wasn't dormant but I had this idea that it wouldn't flower until it did get a dormancy.
Cool to know sandersonii flowers a lot I like it! I'm hoping I can start up a new culture of it w/o the pest moss.
I'm pretty sure that utrics, pings, and the like are supposed to bloom at this time. At least my U. livida is.
But that flytrap is just... ...weird.

The 2 sandersonnii's and livida do indeed bloom during winter, as do many of the Mexican pings. Even some of the sundews are bloomimg now. B. liniflora does as well.

Yes, my Drosera "Jacoby" is blooming as well.
