Giant plastic boulders - yeah!

I was at the farm store yesterday and found some cool 16" and 20" hollow plastic resin boulders for use in the garden and I was thinking they would be excellent for use in a vivarium as well.

The problem is I only want 1/4 - 1/2 of the width, basically the front and back "face" of the rocks or the tops so I can attach it to part of the walls and get moss and lithophytes growing on it. Anyone have thoughts on how to cut a large hard resin boulder in half? Won't fit my hand saw and hand held jig saw wouldn't be able to cut it straight.

Jigsaw a chunk off, then straighten it out with a sander or band saw? Don't breathe the dust.
