Once in a while, I'll be tempted to grow a D. schizandra again.

A new plant in a breadbox (for the bread bowl).

Currently, it is 4" across and has produced two leaves since it arrived 2 weeks ago.

Very nice. It seems to be perking up nicely. Just found some new babies coming up from the depths of the LFS in my shizandra container.

For me it grows for awhile and then dies out... like so many species...
