I prefer viewing the moon when it is new. It always seems our cloudless nights are full-moon nights... which are useless for my purposes.

Vivitar 70-210mm Gen3
Canon XSI
f/11 I think

A few mins ago, should get better in an hour or so I think

cropped?

my lunar eclipse was with the 210 mm lense I think and looked not so big but guessing you also have more MP to play with my camera is ancient by modern standards...

Very very nice! I was waiting for something from you!

The closest I could get is pretty sad... I can't do too much with a point and shoot.

I haven't edited it yet.

Yes, full size crop...

well that is 210 x1.6 cuz of the aps-c sensor, so really about 336mm

Dev, hellva nice shot regardless.... killer for point and shoot

@Jim: Haha. Like a bright orb! :p

@Av: Thanks. I turned the shutter speed all of the way up, lowest iso, remote shutter, low exposre.. I couldn't get any of the clouds in the pic.

Beatiful shot butch! Mind if I save it?

Devon your shot is beautiful too, I once tried to photograph the moon, look liked a right blob. . .
