nepenthes growth point

once a nepenthes growth point turns somewhat yellowish is all lost? ive seen so much emphasis on green growth that im a little worried the plant was new to me only about a week old and i guessed it didnt have the best shipment but only today did i really get worried

Give the plant some time, especially if it is new. Occasionally, a growth point of mine has broken off or was affected by pests, only to come back a bit later . . .
