Thanks all... We ended up rehoming a dog and called it my bday gift since we had such an expense getting her and everything she needed... She's a 7month old coated German Shepard with lazy ears (they do stand up often though... well, one does :-p)

This was taken a couple days ago to send to her mommy with an update of how she's doing... (we were swimming she was watching over us)

I love shepards so much :) Hope the adjustment period goes smoothly for you all. she looks comfortable to be with ya spread out on the bed
