Not for the squeamish: the photo below is of a feeding mosquito: one of a series of pictures I posted on my blog last night of this mosquito slowly filled its gut with my blood!

The one and only insect I kill on sight !

By the way, a fun fact: rubbing banana peel on mosquito bite cures the itch.

I am so allergic to mosquito bites, I get chicken egg sized welts that last for weeks. The red mark lasts for months. If I swat a skeeter when it's actively feeding on me, I really blow up.

Gosh, I lOVE BT dunks and Aldrovanda!

Yikes! Really? Wow that sucks! It makes the itchy bumps I get seem alomst pleasant by comparison!
