Black around the trap means it is dieing. You can't stop that so don't worry ok. Traps only last so long anyways. Just worry about what plant you do have left, it should be ok.


BTW-out of curiousity, how old are you?

As long as it's still producing shoots from the centre of the plant then you're doing ok!
