Today I was checking out my plants and I noticed one of the apex of my D. filiformis 'CA Sunset' plant leaf is branching (like a D. binata). Anyone heard/experienced something similar?
Yes, this happens on my plants occasionally as well, usually in response to some damage to the tip of the leaf, but not always. Other oddities have also been seen: one grower had his leaves of a rosettes species fuse into a tube: sort of a Drosera pitcher plant.
