My ping primuliflora flower stalk snapped

I was observing and pollinting my p. primuliflora when i accidently knocked it over while the toothpick witch i was still holding in the flower made the flower stalk snapp from the end . What do i do , the flower has a small hole and the end whice does'nt seem to damage the plant much but the flwoeer stalk got snapped offf . what do i do , i really want to get seeds from it , how do i preserve it , i put the flower in peat .

What to do:

Wait until the plant flowers again and be more careful when pollinating the next one. They usually produce several flowers during a flowering period. I have the same problem myself from time to time.
