WOW! My N. Veitchii x Truncata really is putting on a show! Just check out how much Veitchii is has in it! (The VERY widely flared peristome.) The lid got broken off by the palsitc bag arrg! *http://64.227.163.178/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif *But no matter, it is still the largest pitcher it has ever made! *http://64.227.163.178/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif *Still a beauty and wonderful one! Thanks for takin a look all! BTW, the pitcher is about 9 inches tall almost as tall as the Truncata pitcher I have! http://64.227.163.178/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif and the peristome is a large 2 inch flaring one.

Is it not growing in a terrarium just the windowsill? If so
how do you provide the proper conditions in the window?

um... NG.. not to be a putz... but that does not look like a 9 inch pitcher... not doubting you... maybe it's an optical illusion... have you measured it or are you guesstimating?

He's using the 6 inch rule (no pun intended). http://64.227.163.178/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Edit:Aww heck... pun intended. http://64.227.163.178/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

OK I lied! It is 8 and a half inches. I just rounded it up. http://64.227.163.178/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif I do that alot. Man! I would be a bad cashier! "Your total comes to 150.00 'Thinks to himself, well, 5 or above rounds up so........ "My mistake sir, your total is $200.00. http://64.227.163.178/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif I'd get fired real quick, or punched out by the customer! http://64.227.163.178/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Is this better clarification? I know it isn't the most accurate measurement but I did my best and takening a picture at the same time isn't easy! http://64.227.163.178/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif But anyway here's a better picture, easier to see now?

I measure my plant's pitcher from the bottom to the top of the peristome. That is part of the pitcher after all. And it is kinda hard to take a picture while holding a tape ruler up at the same time trying to position it as best possible next to the pitcher at the correct lenght. Tristan, no more color is avaliable! Heh! That is the pitchers color right now. Just a very limey green at the moment but it should really start to color up soon.

if thats a fresh pitcher the peristome will curl back and be a lot smaller when it hardens of.

Yeah, I know that, all I was trying to point out was it definetly a veitchii in the cross considering the peristome.
