Frozen nepenthes seed

Hi All,

We forgot to get out mail this weekend and I grabbed it this morning, and of all the dumb luck, some seed I ordered from the ICPS seed bank was in there. It was frozen most of the weekend here. The Nep species are eustaycha, ampullaria and ventricosa. I would thin the amp would be the most concern, but would 48 hrs of freezing temps be absolute doom for seed?

Regards,

Joe

As a guess I would say that if the seed were dry it should probably endure the freeze without much trouble. Test will be to see how or if it germinates and I, for one am curious to hear about that.
