Wind damage

I live near Chicago so it is always a bit windy around my house. Not like Hurricane force winds or anything, but I have my pitcher plant outside and it blows around a lot. It's not real violent or anything

I was just wondering if I should put something around it so it doesn't blow around so much? Will the wind damage the plant? or are they used to this? I just wanted to be sure

It might knock a pitcher over but usually they rebound. I have my Sarrs on my patio and they have taken microburst storms with little damage

I had the wind knock over a beautiful leucophylla pitcher

I now have all the tall pitchers very loosely tied with rope just so they don't blow over.
