U. longifolia'forgetiana'flower bud photo

I figure she will don her apron tomorrow morning. It is not the white flower form, so I assume this is the "Forgetiana" clone. The bud has a distinctly violet hue to the pink though, and looks different than the forgetiana clone I flowered decades ago.

It looks beautiful.

Unfortunatly I am also quite angry right now... That plant was supposed to be an 'alba'! I feel cheated. Anyone who recieved a division of this plant from me, change your tag.

I have doubts about my "white flower" longifolia too - the leaves seem to have a lot of red colour in them, which doesn't seem right for a white-flowered clone.
