I have grown mine in a variety of different mixes. Right now they are in a mix of live sphagnum, fine orchid bark sand and peat. They'd probably be just as happy in pure living or dead sphagnum. For watering, I fill the tray up to within 1cm of the soil surface and water again when the tray is dry. They seem to like a bit less light than most CPs.

I am growing mine in a mix similar to Dodec but I top water daily instead of using the tray system. Along with lower light conditions this plant seems to prefer cooler temps, my division I had growing outside began to suffer greatly when the heat jumped.
