An interesting tidbit on Genliesa

I found this while skimming along the 'net. I t supposedly came from a magazine article:

"All 18 known species live either in pure quartz sand in South American rain forests or along the base of rock outcrops in central Africa."

Anyone out there growing their Genlisea in pure sand?

I wouldn't be surprised if they could grow in pure sand. Once I've built my new terrarium I'll have some extra space for experimentation. I'll give it a try.
