Today I returned home with these two bulbos for my lowland chamber I planned on mounting each specimen instead of leaving them potted. Has anyone else been growing either of these? Is there anything exceptional (care wise) that I should know?
The only thing id say is that B.medusae and B.lobii like a slight drying in between watering other than that they are pretty much like most other Bulbophyllum. Treat them essentially them same as most Phals only slightly more damp.
You should know that both of these species produce a signifigantly long rhizome and therefore will require fairly large slabs, logs, etc. These are probably two of the best candidates for hydrologs although lobbii grows a bit fast so it may take a bit of pruning to keep it contained.
