What do I do with it?
Thanks... Sorry for the amount of info on it... Its just a pile of leaves now...

Hey Greg,

It's Gloxinia.

They're a member of gesneriad family, which includes Saintpaulia--African Violets.

Care info.

And if become REALLY interested in gesneriads you may want to join the AGGS.

Good luck!

Chris

EDIT: LOL Greg I called you GRAG!

I apologize...[stifles giggle]

If the tuber is in good shape, you will be able to get new growth easily.  I plant mine just below the soil and water well.

Unlike VFTs you can grow them from leave cuttings put into a small jar or glass of water with almost 100% success.

I have a red one and a purple flowered one.  The red flowered one has a leaf span of ~18" and the purple one is ~9".

I don't pamper them with misting or a tray for humidity and they still grow like weeds.
