Hey im thinking bout growing some spahgum moss

hey im going to grow some spahgum moss in a plastic container,
should i cover it with the lid?
how much water should i give it?i
s tap water ok for growing it?
how long does it take to grow?
should it give it lots of sun?
do high quality spahgum moss work?(its really clean so i tought maybe the spores are washed out or something...)

Throw it in a tray, keep it very wet (with rain water since it will be used for CPs) and out of strong sunlight and it will grow.

Sphagnum need pure water to grow... Mixing in peat with the long fiber sphagnum helps. Once it starts to grow well, it does best in lots of light with a lid over the terrarium, but this may vary a bit with the differnt spiecies.
