Cp in guinness records book

I was looking at my book and i came across the Extraordinary plants page.  One of the categories was "Largest Carnivorous Plant Prey."  This is what it said: "The Nepenthaceae family digest the largest prey in "pitchers" up to 11.81 in (30 cm) long.  Both N. rajah and N. rafflesiana have been known to eat frogs, birds and even rats.  They are found in the rainforest of Asia, particularly in Indonesia."  

There's also a picture of N. ampullaria.  However i doubt this little nep. will ever catch something that big!

Very cool but...that is not as big as they get I have pitchers that size.

That's pretty cool. I am gald I'm not a rat or bird in Indonesia.LOL
