Well, if your plants survived the deadly onslaught of the clippings being blown all over them by the mower, then I think they will be fine!
Seriously though, the only thing I could think of is if your lawn had recently been fertilized. Otherwise, I can't think of one thing chopped up grass leaves are going to do to CP's, or any plant for that matter.
