I was just wondering how far from the plants does everyone have their terrarium lights? What is the optimal distance?

My mex.pings are 4-8in from two 40watt flourescent tubes and they are thriving. My droseras are about 4-5in from two 40 watt flourescents and they are nicely colored reddish.

I have VFTs, Sarr. purp. ven, pygmy sundews and Cephs growing well with the soil surface 5" from 4, 40 watt bulbs.
