anyone know how i can make one side of my terrarium suited for dormany (venus flytraps) and the other side not (Nepenthes)?

have to agree with two tanks. or just take the vfts out and put the m in the frig as per dormacy instructions.

Yep 2 tanks . . Or keep you plants that need dormacy in pots and take them out when they need it .

So i will go down to petsmart and buy a $10 tank, if i keep them outside for dormancy they will turn into a block of ice within an hour

10 gallon tanks are $7-$8 at wal-mart. they are 10 bucks at petsmart.

i just though a new question for my old thread

if i just make a wall with cardboard in my tank and place tinfloil on the side i wont to be hotter. Will that work so i can dormancy plants on one side and non-dormancy plants on the other?

Nope. Buy the tank, it will be much easier.
