Peat tea

I have heard of making peat tea in order to increse the acididy of the soil in my terrarium, my question is how do I make peat tea?

Just like making regular tea except you use peat. Get some cheese cloth and wrap up some peat with it. Then soak it in good quality water for a while until the water turns a nice brown color. Maybe keep it in the sun and make some nice sun peat tea.
