I got a terrarium for Xmas (wheee! ) and am just starting to set it up, but I'm having trouble with a few things. It's actually an aquarium, and it already came with a glass cover and a light socket attached to the back. I have a single 60w (1000lm, 6500K color temp) cool white light.
The problem is this socket is inside the tank, and I'm afraid the bulb will heat it too much, and since the cover isn't transparent I can't have light fixtures outside it.
It sounds like a simple problem for all you terrarium experts.
Any thoughts?
