Repotting cactus and succulents

Should I move the roots when I repot a cactus or a succulent?, whats the right way of doing it?
Need help Im repotting and Im not sure...

Repotting should be like most other plants... just be careful for the spines. Disturbing the roots shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't damage them. After repotting wait about a week before watering.

Be sure to use a well drained medium. Lots of sand is good.
