Small green gecko

I want my four inch gecko to have a mate. How do I tell if it is a male or a female

males geckos (i presume you have a day gecko, as you said it wa s green), have two buldges at the base of its tail, near the vent. They also have pores on there legs. They look like little bumps on the base of their hind legs.
