A big bromelia

I saw this huge bromelia on a local garden so i bought it. It was the only one she had and she never knew the name.

So what is it?

Hey,
I have absolutley no knowledge of bromielads, but we have the same thing in our living room. Very cool looking though.............

I'm not quite sure, the patterns on the leaves from the red to the green looks likes a bromelia humlis, but their are slight spikes on the leaves of the bromelia humlis, the flower looks a little like the achmea, those are my guesses but they're proably wrong.
