VFT Seed's Need cold before sowing?

HI all, and good day.
i was wondering if i should place my seeds in the fridge for a while before i try to sprout them or if not im not sure if the company i got em from put them thrue a cold season an iv not grown from seeds before but have read some about it needing cold period before they will grow at all, required?

I would recomend a 4-6 week period of wet stratifacation.As this will generaly improve germination.

If they're fresh, you could plant them now without stratification.

Yah. but if you don't know, a wet paper towle around them in a ziplock bag and in the fridge for a few weeks helps with most seeds... although VFT's aren't that northern so you could probubly toss them in a dish of water on the windowsill untill they sprout and then move them to the soil surface
