would a 5000-5500 rating be the closest to the Carolinas?

Er, what is a Kelvin Rateing? Temperature or what? That doesn't look correct for temperature. I'd love to know if anyone is up to enlightening me

oh okay, so it's just another way to measure light wavelengths. Cool.... then the answer to the question that the spectrum must inclued all the wavelengths that reach earth via the sun in order to mimic them for any area.

4500k-6500k is the colour temperature you need for growing.
