aldrovanda 'japan' subtropical

Hi,

I ordered a couple aldrovanda 'japan' and according to The Savage Garden subtropical aldrovanda vesiculosa 'japan' doesn't REQUIRE a dormancy. I'd never even heard of a subtropical aldrovanda before. So can anyone give any information on this subject matter?

scratch that. but I have another question. How long does it take 'japan' aldrovanda to "wake up"?
