Is this plant Protected/thretoned or endangerd? They are native to my state and I'd like to bring some into cultivation, but I'm not about to do so if they are on the no-no list like our other terrestrial plants.

If they are on your own land and would like to take 1 or 2 plants from a colony I don't see why not. But if they are on private property obtain permission from the landowner. If they are on state land.....forget it.

okay. The ones on my land all got bulldozed when we first moved in but I'm sure some nabors have some somewhere. Thanks.
