Yes, with good seed set even if the flowers do not open fully.


What color?

Pink.  The flowers do not open often.

How many seeds?

Tons!


When do I pick the seed pod?

After 3/4 of the pods are brown.

Do the seeds need special treatment?

No.  Just typical storage considerations.  No stratification is needed.

Where do I start them?

On the appropriate substrate in pots.  High humidity until germination accomplished.

Are peat Pots okay?

I use regular pots.  I have never used peat pots.

Will the plant die after the flower?

It is not a long lived species, so it may.

How long do the seedlings take to mature?

I think a year will see a flowering plant.  It varies based on conditions and technique.

like spec told you its an annual usually. So make sure you get seed!
