What nep is this

Hi all
I got this and another one at a local plant store. They got this and another one in and it looked dried out but still alive. The pitchers were willting to. But i don't know which one this is... Thanks

I don't think that you can ID a nep by it's leaves. If you'll post a pic of a pitcher when it starts making them again, it will diffinatley be IDable.

You have to wait until you get a new pitcher before you can positively ID it, but the leaf structure seems to indicate a N. X ventrata or something similar.

Could be totally off base here though.

Can you get a pic of a dried-up pitcher? From these hanging plants I see at the local nurseries, N. x 'coccinea' tends to have it's pitchers fry up the easiest.

I think SF is right. It sure looks like a shade grown ventrata-all vine and no pitchers. -Trent
