Tillandsia pics...help us identify ours!

I know a lot of people who have Tillandsia, and most people sadly have no idea what species it actually is.  Whether they received it that way, lost the tags/the tags wore off (ahem), etc, it sucks.  

 I figure, I love these things, they're really great plants.  So...I figured i'd take pictures of all the named species that I have and post them here.  

 If anyone has any to add please do, and if we get together enough pictures, who knows, maybe i'll put up a web page for us to refer to for years to come.  

 With the photographers permission of course.  

Btw, if i'm wrong on a name or you think I am, please let me know.

Thanks Larry. Couldn't help myself actually.

I'm trying to work on the tenuifolia forms at the moment then back on to the fragrant forms.

If you have anything that's not listed, please add.

Wow! Impressive! But doesnt the Tillandsia caput-medusae
on the background look like a REALLY fat chicken in the middle of relieving itself?

Wow, I just bought some unlabelled Tillandsia and this was an excellent resource. Thanks a lot for putting it together. It should be a webpage if it isn't already.

I just got T. cyanea (sp?) and T. neglecta both are very colorful. I just added them to my tank I'm doin. I don't have any pics though.

Hey guys,

Sorry about the busted links, forgot that those pictures were hosted in the old user space.  Luckily I have 2 or 3 sets of backups of them anyway.  

The bad news is all of those plants went the way of the dodo during what we'll refer to here as "the great disaster".  Good news is that that means there is space for newer Tillandsia that I didn't have pictures of before.  

 I'm looking for a new host right now, but if you guys like i'll put them all up on a webpage like suggested, and please, if you have any pics not listed share them and i'll put them together.  Identified ones of course.    It'd be fun to be the BobZ of the Tillandsia world.

Edit: Ok, updated the links, missed one close-up with this backup set. Took almost a half hour to finish playing with the links. Hate how every time you click edit it actually converts the code one way, but not the other. Oh well, if anyone needs that close-up shot let me know.

Hey Tink,

Well the broken links don't really exist...the pictures are back instead of that annoying red X.

This BobZ that I speak of is actually our very own BobZ from this forum. He's the man responsible for the Carnivorous Plant Photo Finder. If you haven't seen the site yet, go on over and take a peek. Bob's compiled links to a lot of photo's of different CP's from all over the web.
