whenever i germinate temperate seed, i sow it, leave it outside all year and then after winter in the spring they germinate, so i guess about 2 or 3 months.
wish i could do that here but we can have snow on the ground anywhere from 1 to 6 months. and its quite cold for atleast 4.5 months. 2 months would sound about right.
For D. filliformis ssp filliformis , I sucessfully germinated them by putting them in the fridge for four weeks then leave them alone till they germinated. It took a good month or two, then all the sudden you'll be loaded with more plants then you will know what to do with...
