What is this plant?

Hey,

I know it isn't carnivorous, but it has cropped up in and is restricted to my bog garden, so maybe someone knows what it is. There are 15 or 20 of them.

It is a NASTY weed of the polygonamum species. Get rid of it quick. Purdy pink flowers or not. Just my opinion.

What makes the plant particularly bad?

Also - I have anothe plant to ID. *I've also seen it growing in the bogs at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
