Sorry I am not authorized to do a poll, maybe some kind moderator will set one up.
1) Typical layout for a cp book (VFT first through Neps or Utrics last (see savage garden))
2) By region (All Australia, then South Amaerica, then North America, etc
3) By conditions (Sarrs, subtermperate and some temperate pings and Drosera, then tropical stuff, then etc.

If it's supposed to be a field guide, I'd do it by region. Otherwise, I'd do the typical thing, dividing genera on the basis of growing conditions (lowland vs. highland, etc.).

How about both. Make most of the book focus on one type of categorization... and then add small sections at the end of the book that list the plants again using other methods of categorization.

definatley by genus, but grouping them like this
