Regarding windows in homes

I notice that we have two types of windows in this house,  Low-E and Low-E II Argon.

Does anyone out there have any idea how this affects the plants that I have in front of those windows?

I think the windows are probibly polarized which means less then half the light you would be getting normally is getting through. I'm not sure they are polarized but that would make sense.

Well, looks as if I partially answered my own question by searching the Internet-

One problem... we have Low-E II (not regular Low-E) and Low-E II Argon windows and those are the commercial grade for residential use that are not the greatest for plants.

Check the site out above. Looks as if I do have a problem. Figures.
