Apparantly Arlene may strengthen into a categoy 1 storm before making landfall (it's winds went from 45 to 70mph just today. Minimum for a catefory 1 hurricane is 74 mph). After that, it'll be a good load of rain throguh the south, from florida to VA.

Susanne, ready the water buckets. Everyone else, batten down those hatches.

Pfffff... it's already been raining nonstop for a long time. The only thing this changed was some wind a couple nights ago as the storm brushed the opposite coast of the state.
