How difficult is Pinguicula lutea?

Wolfn

I've read in several carnivorous plant books that Pinguicula Lutea is difficult to keep long term. Is this true? I'm thinking about putting one in my bog garden but if it's a short lived plant I'll think otherwise.

For some of us, grown indoors, yes.
You might have a shot in a bog garden in your climate. I would go for it.

Cheers,

Anyone else?

I killed one.. indoors!

I really love the looks of them. In addition, my first carnivorous plant was a Pinguicula, and I think it was a Lutea. It would be nice to have one in my collection, but several sites say it tends to rot away while flowering.
