Lovely. I haven’t grown this one; thought it was the same as rectifolia but it’s quite distinct from Mine.

How old is that pumila, and where did you get the 'rose'?

Thanks!

Here’s my latest hybrid to flower: “Fake Weser” x cyclosecta. I’m thinking of back crossing it with cyclosecta to get more purple in the leaf. It’s interesting how the cyclosecta’s purple and the Fake Weser’s pink leaf seem to almost cancel each other out. The pink flower is the Fake Weser.

In that photo, maybe 2 months if that? Though it hasn't gotten much bigger since; they are a small species. I don't recall where I got 'Rose' offhand, not sure if it's anywhere in my notes either (which would be buried anyway as it was a few years ago).

Bonjour

BOB

your first picture seems to be a x 'Weser' not the "fake weser" (x'Sethos') .

your second your hybrid ?

It’s very similar but not real Weser; on real Weser the white line is much cleaner and more distinct. Here is real ‘Weser’

Also the petals on real ‘Weser’ are wider, so that they overlap slightly.

for me these 2 are x 'Weser' ,like this
x'Weser'.jpg
or mine
X'Weser'.jpg

after, everything, is a question of the nature of the moranensis and ehlersiae used.
but if we use species type in both cases it seems to me that petals are not overlapping so why a hybrid would be with

a 'fake weser' for me is a x'Sethos'
