    Ping gone wild

I have a P. "Pirouette" that started blooming this summer and hasn't stopped. Recently, it split into three (I can count three distinct crowns) and there are more little offsets underneath the plant. It is blooming... enthusiastically. There are five flower stalks and at least one more on the way. My other two pings (cyclosecta and "Seductora") are sleeping through the gray winter days.

Excuse the poor lighting/bad photography. The flowers are really much more vibrant and purple.

Is this normal? Can a ping bloom itself to death? Should I try to plant the divisions separately when (if) it stops flowering?
